TUES. JANUARY 24

No breakfast today. I thought I was going to get Sabrina's leftover mini-cinnamon rolls, because it turned out she had already made breakfast for herself and hadn't told me -- but then she went ahead and ate two breakfasts!... But then Lee brought me back a small mango-a-go-go smoothie from Jamba Juice. Yum. Not sure what all is in it, but clearly mango. And pineapple. Don't know what else. But I'd love another one right now.

Lunch was out with the Brownie leaders. I succumbed to the brown roll, but other than that, had a chicken curry orange salad -- don't know where the curry was, frankly, but it had chicken (duh), lots of different kids of lettuce, oranges, apples, raisins, pine nuts, bacon, and maybe some curry hidden in there somewhere.

For dinner, it was Lee's night to choose, and he wanted Panda Express. So I had a 2-serving entree of orange chicken w/ steamed rice. I don't know why, but their orange chicken is absolutely addictive to me. If there had been more, I would have eaten it, I'm sure. (Kettle Chips crinkly potato chips with black pepper do the same thing.)

I'm going to have a sugar-free juice bar for dessert as we watch "American Idol" tonight. I think it's really because now I want another mango-a-go-go and it's the closest I can get.

No exercise today, I was too busy running around doing Brownie stuff (including taking Sabrina up to sell cookies at our church offices -- she has now beat her record and her goal, and sold 261 boxes.) But I have lost a pound since the beginning of the year. Two more pounds, I go shopping for a new pair of black pants. Be still, my heart.

Tomorrow I have a dermatology appointment in the morning (after skin cancer last year, I know better than to skip it). And then I'm back home for what I hope will be a big writing day. Lee and I finally got some work done, but not enough. We have to deliver to our writers group on Thursday, so a lot to do.

You know, I think I could live happily on mango-a-go-go smoothies and orange chicken, with the occasional black pepper potato chip....
