SUN. JANUARY 22
We somehow made it up to church early for the jr. high group parent meeting. They had bagels, so I had half a bagel with cream cheese. But it was a long morning, what with waiting around an hour afterwards for the next worship service to start, and I was weak and also had a jelly doughnut. Shame on me.
But the good news was, Sabrina sold a ton of Girl Scout cookies. She's up to 173 boxes so far. In 2 days.
Sabrina got to choose lunch, and she chose Taco Bell. Oh joy. I had a taco salad -- meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, salsa and rice (instead of beans. I hate beans. All beans.)
The kids had a playdate with their best friends from church all afternoon. Sometime during that time, Lee broke into the peppermint bark we were given at Christmas, and I had a 2-bite piece.
I made potato pancakes for dinner -- I had 5 potato pancakes -- small ones, I hasten to add with applesauce and sour cream, and 1/2 a chicken-and-apple sausage. (I'd be happy w/ just the potato pancakes... Actually, I'm happy w/ any kind of potatoes... But I knew Lee and Cory would want the sausage.)
And that's it for today. No exercise, I'm afraid.
Tomorrow is an all-writing day. Plus I have some nasty phone calls to make. At least no running around though. So I should be able to blog tomorrow night (I'm back in the swing of that at least!)...
