TUES. FEBRUARY 14
Today was one of those weird days where I felt like I got nothing whatsoever done.
I didn't get much sleep, because the sliding glass door in our room was open and I didn't realize it. But the ambient city noise from outside keep waking me up. So a rough night.
We had to teach at LAFSC this morning, about ethics in Hollywood. (Hold the jokes, please.) We dropped the kids off (almost late, but just in time) at school, then stopped at an IHOP for breakfast and to figure out what we were supposed to say. I had 5 small potato pancakes w/ appx 2 T sour cream and about 1/2 c. applesauce.
We gave our talk, such as it was. Lee wanted to stop for lunch afterwards, so we stopped at a McDonald's on the way home. I had a chicken fajita roll-up and a hot-fudge sundae. I was so sleepy when we got home, I had to lie down. And I ended up getting no writing done. None whatsoever. Very frustrating.
Later in the day, I had one of the leftover tuna pockets from the night before. It didn't reheat particularly well.
For dinner, I made Hamburger Helper -- always a way to keep the natives happy (how tacky are we). We had Crunchy Taco Hamburger Helper. It was okay, I guess.
Tomorrow should be an all writing day here. About time! I can't wait.
