MON. FEBRUARY 27
Oops, bad me. I simply forgot to post last night, then had a physical therapy appointment this morning and raced out w/o posting.
Yesterday I skipped b'fast because I had to use every spare minute to run my pitch for the meeting we had. It went very well, btw.
Afterwards, to celebrate, we went to Islands for lunch. There's this absolutely beautiful, very sweet waitress at the Beverly Hills Islands that we always get when we stop in for a post-meeting lunch. She's so lovely that I had to ask her once if she was an actress, and of course the answer was yes. And even though we were seated in a totally different area of the restaurant this time, we got her again! A good omen, one might hope.
I had a "small wave" cheeseburger with, you guessed it, grilled onions, and a small serving of their luscious fries w/ low-fat ranch dressing -- the "Small Wave" is the name they give it when adults order off the kids' menu, so basically, it's a kid's sized hamburger. I really appreciate that they allow that. I also had cranberry juice to drink. Just in case.
Later in the afternoon, I swiped a Halloween-sized Nestle's Crunch from the goody bag Cory got at a b'day party this weekend.
For dinner, I made beef stroganoff -- had 1 1/2 servings. And later in the evening, I had a small serving of Moose Tracks ice cream. And that was it.
And we've reached the end of another month, so once again I'd like to ask whoever is actually reading this blog to check in w/ me by leaving a comment. Thanks!
